DIRAC LIVE BASS MANAGEMENT MODULE UPDATE
So I am on FW 1.28 and I decided to do a internet update and see if this will be better, i know this is going to take time to update but at least the USB is out of the equation. So I decided to go back to FW 1.28, checked the modules and DSP1 is still blank?ĪVR10 BTW, the same USB I use every time for updating.

Adopt it into your audio gear family with care, and it will reward you with refined soundstage, imaging, impact, clarity, and detail that might just kick your. I uploaded my Dirac but instead of using BM(upmix) I just went for OFF, but I got the same problems with the sound randomly not working. The miniDSP DDRC-88A with Dirac Live plus BM firmware and plugin for Bass Management is a Value Multiplier if I ever heard one, Approach it with patience, Get to know its capabilities. I setup all the speaker configs, distances and levels. So I decided to reinstall the FW, but when I check the update modules afterwards, the DSP1 would be blank, really weird.
DIRAC LIVE BASS MANAGEMENT MODULE MOVIE
The popping sound wasn't bad on mine till I watched a DTS movie and then after that it was really bad, a reboot brought this back. The major one been that sound would just stop altogether, it doesn't see the the incoming sound it sees the incoming video alright, I have been recently getting the usual two Fail errors From the optimization design perspective, a full-range speaker will be seen as both a small-range speaker and a sub-woofer " Therefore, in the upcoming Bass Control 2.0 the user will have the ability to include their full-range speakers into the Bass Control optimization. As seen in section Handling of multiple sub-woofers, by adjusting levels, delays, and phase responses of the individual sub-woofers, it is possible to minimize the variation between the measurement points and get a more unified listening area. " Upcoming Bass Control 2.0 Since a pair of full-range speakers can produce frequencies below 100 Hz contribute to the optimization by including them into the bass control design. Just to muddle things even more another BM is supposed to be on the way That kind of fits if sub 1 and 2 do not have the bits needed in the path to do tier 1 or 2 I guess on the HDA's to take advantage of the paid upgrades for BM the sub/s need to be connected to ch 13, 14, 15, 16 and not sub 1 or 2. If off = Tier 3 that would line up from the original Dirac live info about BM that said tier 3 would work with all avr's (long before the HDA's went on sale) and the fact that from 2.5x onwards I and others found the bass much improved over 2.4 on FMJ's
